After years of years of nurturing the principle of liberty, the Libertarian Party of Kansas will harvest victory this year and create the new Major Party for Kansas. We are at unique moment in time. A time when Kansans are hungry for a better choice. Desperate for representatives who understand our governments role and limits. To feed that hunger, the Libertarian Party of Kansas has nominated a strong ticket to run for Kansas Governor 2010.
Andrew Gray and Stacey Davis are preparing to mount the widest reaching LPKS campaign in Kansas history. This November we will find out of their team has been successful in electing the first of many Libertarian Governors for the state of Kansas. Regardless of that outcome, the Gray/Davis Team will win 5% of the vote, and The Libertarian Party of Kansas will achieve Major Party status. With Major Party status you get a full and viable 3rd party in Kansas. With a viable 3rd party, you get more choices, better candidates, and an avenue for Kansans to enter public service without being beholden to either a party machine or special interest groups.
If we all do our part, there will be third Major Party in Kansas in 2011.
I was surprised to not see your name on our Primary Ballot. Maybe next year.
