The Libertarian Party is thrilled to introduce Aubrey Gann-Redmon and the Constitutional Law course she will be teaching over the next few months. The meetings will be held at the Johnson County Central Resource Library from 6:30-8:45 p.m. I will be setting the room up from 6:00-6:30 (a perfect time for meet-n-greet). Aubrey brings a unique teaching method of combining history and the interpretation of the Constitution in order to easily understand the laws defining our country. We will provide handouts, but suggest you bring a notebook and pen!
Lesson 4: Arts. 4-7
Lesson 5: BoR Amendments 1-5
Lesson 6: BoR Amendments 6-10
Lesson 7: Amendments 11-16
Lesson 8: Amendments 17-27
Aubrey earned her law degree from the University of Missouri, Kansas City in 2008. She was a law clerk from 2006-2007 for Michael Ong, where she worked on probate litigation cases. Aubrey then clerked for SiroLaw, PC in the areas of civil litigation before becoming an attorney for SiroLaw in 2008. She operated her own practice focusing on estate planning in helping the LGBT community meet their particular planning needs. She still works estate planning and probate, but her practice is mostly criminal defense and contract work for area attorneys and their firms. Aubrey is a court appointed criminal defense attorney in Wyandotte County, Kansas.
Aubrey is also the campaign manager for Jasmin Talbert, our wonderful Libertarian Candidate for US House in Kansas’ contentious 3rd District. If you would like the class materials prior to May 24th, please send Aubrey your email address and she will furnish you an electronic copy of the outline for Lesson 3.
To enhance class participation, everyone is encouraged, but not required, to think of any questions they have regarding the constitutionality of any current or pending legislation as it pertains to Arts. 4-7
Yo, good loiokn out! Gonna make it work now.
