LIBERTARIAN PARTY OF KANSAS DENOUNCES RAID ON NEWSPAPER

The Libertarian Party of Kansas unequivocally condemns the unnecessary, heavy-handed raid of the Marion County Record newspaper.

The Libertarian Party of Kansas understands that freedom of speech is essential to our constitutional republic. The First Amendment is first for a reason.

The Libertarian Party of Kansas notes that neither the Republican Party nor Democrat Party has spoken out against this gross abuse of government. We call on them, particularly Representative Jake LaTurner, to condemn the raid.

The Libertarian Party of Kansas calls for the immediate return of all property seized from the newspaper. We also call for the immediate removal from office of all those responsible for the raid, including the judge, the county attorney, and the police chief.
