Thank You, 2022 Candidates!

LPKS sincerely thanks all 15 of our candidates and their volunteers for all their efforts this year! The Libertarian party has retained party status and ballot access for two years by achieving over 1% of the vote in all 4 our statewide races! Here are the unofficial results:

  • Congratulations to James Doyle, LPKS Vice Chair, on his reelection to Belleville City Council! James earned 559 votes to secure the win.
  • Seth Cordell and Evan Laudick-Gaines won 1% of the vote, earning 10,756 votes in a four way race for Governor.
  • Steve Roberts won 5% of the vote, earning 44,203 votes for Treasurer.
  • Cullene Lang won 3% of the vote, earning 27,078 votes for Secretary of State.
  • David Graham won 3% of the vote, earning 28,844 votes for US Senate.
  • Steve Hohe won 2% of the vote earning 6,699 votes for US Representative in the 3rd district.
  • Michael Kerner won 2% of the vote, earning 207 votes for State Representative District 17.
  • Stephanie Barton won 3% of the vote, earning 176 votes for State Representative District 23.
  • Henry Hein won 23% of the vote, earning 1,879 votes for State Representative District 74
  • Steve Baird won 3% of the vote, earning 307 votes for State Representative District 91.
  • LJ Hermreck won 27% of the vote, earning 598 votes for State Representative District 103. LJ earned the highest percentage of all our candidates in his district.
  • Peter Solie won 15% of the vote, earning 1,304 votes for State Representative District 109.
  • Steve Jacob won 3% of the vote, earning 459 votes Douglas County Commission.
  • Kirsten Kuhn won 7% of the vote, earning 234 votes for Palmyra Township Clerk (Douglas County).
